Course Description:
Peter Thorne, CGP Trainer of Record and Alicia Brenner of BTConsulting, Inc. have teamed with Scott Thorne, CGP Trainer
of Record, to offer this 2 day course. The course meets
the training requirements of the California State Water Resource Control Board approved training course as defined by
the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) and the CGP for individuals intending to become Qualified SWPPP Developers
(Inspectors) (QSPs). It is also an in depth review of the 2009 Construction General Permit, with emphasis on the field
work aspect of SWPPP's. This course is a prerequisite to take the QSP Exam as given by the SWRCB, however,
anyone wishing to gain additional knowledge is welcome to attend. Click here for information regarding qualifying to take the QSD/QSP Exam.
Beginning September 2011, all Qualified SWPPP Practitioners (QSPs) shall have taken a State approved
course and passed the State test.

Class
sign in and materials distribution will begin at 8:00 am with presentations beginning at 8:30 on each day. Snacks,
coffee, sodas, waters, lunch, a copy of the 2009 General
Permit and Course Materials will be provided. Class
is intended to wrap up at around 4:30 each day. It is imperative that the attendee sit for the entire class
in order to receive a Course Completion Letter and Certificate, and receive credit to take the State Exam.
